Not Immortal is a rank seven Gu Immortal of the Three Crazed Demon Eccentrics who lives in Crazed Demon Cave and guides visitors through its layers.

Fang Yuan meets a white-robed Gu Immortal with a pale face, black beard, long wide sleeves, and eyes that shine like stars, aura unconcealed. The immortal names the title Not Immortal and ties Fang Yuan’s token Gu to a gift the Three Crazed Demon Eccentrics gave Chu Du. He refuses to leave for Chu Du’s sake. Fang Yuan reaches Pang Shan at a small valley in the sixth layer of Crazed Demon Cave; even the eccentrics do not enter the bottom three layers casually. The three have stayed put for hundreds of years without bothering with the outside world. Pang Shan ties Chu Du’s request to Immortal Gu and killer moves that resolve alliance agreements. ch. 1174 Not Immortal stays present while Pang Shan names Care Gu and the two hand over wills and red date immortal essence for Chu Du. ch. 1175

Appearance

He has a middle aged appearance. He wears white robes with long wide sleeves. He has a pale face and a black beard. His eyes shine like stars. ch. 1174

Guide and rule path footing

He brings Fang Yuan and Chu Du deeper again for the Crazed Demon Agreement, explaining that rising demonic sounds force route changes as dao marks and terrain shift. He says detours are faster than walking straight in the cave, names himself a rule path Gu Immortal who seeks rule path dao marks, and demonstrates forty-two steps on the dense dao mark ground while admitting he held back to spare Chu Du’s face. ch. 1188

Seventh layer guidance

On a third visit, he waits at the cave with Secret Schemer, still addressed as Brother Liu from the Crazed Demon Agreement, and guides the path while they probe Fang Yuan’s strength on the seventh layer. ch. 1863

Eternal life work

The Three Crazed Demon Eccentrics are wisdom path Secret Schemer, earth path Pang Shan, and rule path Not Immortal, living in the cave to reach its deepest layer for the secret of eternal life. He emerges from truthful floating ice as rank seven, says Limitless’ will pulled the three inside to control practice Gu and carve the ice, and that finishing the carve would yield the method of eternal life once the eighth-layer worlds merge into the formation. ch. 2189

Death

When Limitless Demon Venerable shatters into truthful floating ice, he screams with Secret Schemer and shouts that the failure cannot be. In the scramble for the remaining ice pieces that follows, he and Secret Schemer die on the spot without managing a sound. ch. 2209
