Battle Bone Wheel is a rank five Gu. It was Ha Tu Gu's core Gu, and after his death it lived on as a wild Gu on the old battlefield.
On the poison grassland battlefield where Chang Shan Yin and Ha Tu Gu fought, a large white bone wheel appears in the purple fog: as tall as two men, about 1.5 m wide, made of white bones, with sharp bone spikes on its surface and a large skull at the spoke whose eye sockets burn with blood-red flames. Fang Yuan warns that this is Ha Tu Gu’s Battle Bone Wheel. ch. 430
As a wild Gu it eats white bones as food. Its attack is fierce; it often crushes opponents into meat paste, and it can lift off the ground to fly. Fang Yuan and Ge Yao kite it for four hours until it falls. The wheel is full of cracks and almost destroyed, and Fang Yuan subdues it after fifteen minutes of will and primeval essence. ch. 430
Appearance
It is a large white bone wheel, as tall as two men and about 1.5 m wide. Its body is made of white bones. Sharp bone spikes protrude from its surface. At the spoke of the wheel there is a large skull whose eye sockets burn with blood-red flames. ch. 430
Killer move
Battle Bone Wheel Gu is famous because the rank eight Demonic Gu Immortal Shen Jie Ao, Proud Bone Demon Lord, used it. When he became a rank six Gu Immortal and lacked a rank six Gu, he made the killer move White Bone Chariot from many rank five Gu such as the white bone wheel, with power comparable to a rank six Gu. Bone bamboo Gu combined with ghost fire Gu can repair the damage so the wheel can function again. ch. 431
Damage and repair
After Chang Shan Yin beat it and Ha Tu Gu died, the wild Gu could only eat skeletons on the battleground and could not fix its injuries. Fang Yuan and Ge Yao then beat it to its last breath to subdue it, so it stays at the brink of destruction. Fang Yuan burns bone bamboo Gu with ghost fire Gu to produce white bone smoke that the cracks absorb; after more than thirty bone bamboo Gu he finishes the deepest crack, but the Gu is still far from battle ready, and even fully fixed his primeval essence cannot activate it yet. ch. 445
Repair status
The battle bone wheel is completely repaired and floats on Fang Yuan’s primeval sea. ch. 504
Remaining holdings
Fang Yuan later calls Battle Bone Wheel one of the mortal Gu required to form that killer move, and says he has only the one obtained from the Northern Plains battlefield where Chang Shan Yin had hidden. ch. 736
