Two Heavens Alliance

Wu Shuai leads the two heavens alliance to invade Eastern Sea. While he fights Qi Sea Ancestor, the alliance’s Gu Immortals feel solemn and fearful; variant human members hope he wins, and they treat the clash as deciding the future of the five regions. ^{ch. 1988}

Qi Sea Ancestor calls Wu Shuai a dragonman and says the two heavens alliance is made up of mostly variant humans, public enemies of the five regions, and pledges to resist them in Eastern Sea. Mermaid Lian Ke Xin notes that the Merman Imperial Court has already joined the alliance while Wu Shuai keeps their identity unexposed so they can gather information. ^{ch. 1991}

Wu Shuai convenes rank eight Gu Immortals of the two heavens alliance at Eastern Sea’s Xia clan headquarters. In Dragon Palace he sits on the main seat; vice alliance leader Ice Crystal Immortal Monarch sits immediately left, and Xiao He Jian sits on the right. Variant human force leaders sit closer; human grotto-heaven owners sit further back. Narration reads the seating as variant humans dominant with most authority, while human Gu Immortals are disadvantaged, and ties that bias to Wu Shuai’s dragonman identity. The meeting concerns qi harvest fruits draining grotto-heaven heaven and earth qi, and Wu Shuai proposes testing cures on grotto-heavens that have not joined the alliance. ^{ch. 2007}
