He is also a miniman like Xiao He Jian, so he has a natural closeness to him. With those two supporting Xiao He Jian, Xiao He Jian can barely contend. On the contribution board Xiao He Jian stands first, his contribution points in four digits. Green Forest Great Sage is not among the top three, but he is in the top ten. He becomes slightly happier and tells Xiao He Jian that the alliance leader remembered their contribution. ^{ch. 2074}

He and Xiao He Jian are rank eight miniman Gu Immortals of the variant human alliance. Their grotto-heavens are wood path grotto-heavens, which provide wood path immortal materials. ^{ch. 2081}

In Crazed Demon Cave’s eighth layer, Xiao He Jian fights Nie Kuang Feng. At the crucial moment two figures appear beside Xiao He Jian: Green Forest Great Sage, a miniman Gu Immortal, and Black Locust, owner of Giant Locust grotto-heaven and another wood path cultivator. The three wood path Gu Immortals cooperate. Flying leaf blades turn into seeds planted on Nie Kuang Feng, and vines grow and bind it. ^{ch. 2172}

Nie Kuang Feng demonizes into a reddish brown demonic wind. Intense winds cross several thousand steps and arrive before Green Forest Great Sage. He has already used his defensive killer move, but after the wind devours him, his aura quickly weakens, and he dies after a few breaths of time. ^{ch. 2173}
