Black Locust

At Xia clan headquarters, over ten variant human Gu Immortals stand in a standoff. A third group of human Gu Immortals holds Crossing Heaven Immortal Monarch, Black Locust, and Rainbow Rock Immortal Concubine. When variant human Gu Immortals argue that the two heavens alliance should be a pure variant human alliance and call the human Gu Immortals’ battle performance bad, those three stand pale and close together. ^{ch. 2068}

In Crazed Demon Cave’s eighth layer, Xiao He Jian fights Nie Kuang Feng. At the crucial moment two figures appear beside him: Green Forest Great Sage, a miniman Gu Immortal, and Black Locust, owner of Giant Locust grotto-heaven and another wood path cultivator. The three wood path Gu Immortals cooperate. Flying leaf blades turn into seeds planted on Nie Kuang Feng, and vines grow and bind it. Black Locust is overjoyed that they have finally caught their target. The three look at each other with joy. ^{ch. 2172}

Nie Kuang Feng demonizes into a reddish brown demonic wind. After the wind kills Green Forest Great Sage, it stops for a moment, then charges toward Black Locust nearby. Xiao He Jian moves to help, but after a few rounds the demonic wind still kills Black Locust. The wind then targets Xiao He Jian. ^{ch. 2173}

During a later wave of immortal ascension inside the sovereign immortal aperture, narration names Black Locust among Gu Masters who ascend, together with others revived after Crazed Demon Cave deaths. Fang Yuan had revived most of those Gu Immortals only at Gu Master level so they could ascend again under that trend. ^{ch. 2291}
