Merman Sacred Court

An investigator from it, the jade-scaled merman Wu De, comes to Sacred City to investigate rumors that the current generation saintess Xie Han Mo has an affair with the human Gu Master Gu Yue Fang Yuan. Xie Han Mo asks for the elder assembly’s token. Wu De says he can investigate Fang Yuan without one because Fang Yuan is a human Gu Master with no background. After Xie Han Mo rejects the investigator and protects Fang Yuan, it decides to hold the Sea God Ceremony again to decide on the saintess once more. Xie Han Mo says corruption among its elders has gotten very severe. Bu Su Lian is the wife of the former third elder. ^{ch. 1664}
