Fate Reversing Sacrificial Refinement Formation is a super Gu formation that irrigates the water of Reverse Flow River. It remodeled Snowy Mountain blessed land.
Zhao Lian Yun learns its origins and history from Love Immortal Gu. She says Sun Ming Lu set it up with over ten Immortal Gu. No rank eight Immortal Gu is used, but Reverse Flow River is used so fully that even a rank eight Gu Immortal would be trapped. Fifteen snowy peaks serve as formation cores. Invaders are sent to peaks that match their rank. Gu Immortals in the formation cores are amplified: rank six can have rank seven might, and rank seven gains a tremendous boost short of rank eight. The formation also imitates Regret Pool and has time path abilities. Any Gu Immortal who dies inside is treated as a sacrifice that helps Lady Wan Shou, at the center, refine Ma Hong Yun. Deaths of enemies or allies become fuel for refining fortune rivalling heaven Gu. Reverse Flow River’s rules also stop higher ranked Gu Immortals from hunting lower ranked ones inside the formation. ch. 1252
Absorbed death
Several breaths after Zhao Da Niu dies, his body, soul, and immortal aperture turn into pure energy that the formation absorbs. ch. 1256
Backdoor arrangement
Black Extremity tells Flood Extremity that he was tasked to act as Sun Ming Lu, get near Lady Wan Shou, and create this formation using Reverse Flow River. Old Ancestor Xue Hu could not see the backdoor because he is not proficient in formation path. The Snowy Mountain layout is the main formation. A corresponding sub formation can break the main formation and draw Reverse Flow River. Both the sub and main formations still influence the river. ch. 1270
River channel
Black Extremity says this is not control of Reverse Flow River. He created the formation like digging a river channel and letting the river move in it, so they can influence the direction it goes. ch. 1276
