A head-on collision throws him back six steps and shocks him into taking Fang Yuan seriously. When Fang Yuan switches to jumping grass and rank three blood moon Gu moonblades from range, Tang Xiong’s weaker long range methods cannot threaten him. Fang Yuan’s rank three initial stage light silver primeval essence outlasts Tang Xiong’s B grade red steel essence. After five or six bleeding wounds Tang Xiong admits defeat, covers the injuries, threatens to smack Fang Yuan into minced meat someday, and leaves pale. Fang Yuan takes grand bear Gu as the match prize; with it gone Tang Xiong has only two bears’ strength left and his battle strength falls by about thirty percent. ^{ch. 281}
