Jade Eye Stone Monkey King

Fang Yuan lowers his own White Jade Gu as bait, then reactivates it the instant the stone monkey king strikes, and answers with a moonblade that tears a wound from its chest to its leg and drives it into hiding. Following the blood trail back to the rock forest’s center, he finds the stone monkey king already dead, its body gone rigid. A new stone monkey king has already taken its place, and the Gu worm that concealed the dead king drifts free toward the newcomer; Fang Yuan intercepts it, confirming his guess that the concealing worm is a rank one Stealth Rock Gu. ^{ch. 116}
