In Imperial Court blessed land, a bright red giant python at least a hundred meters long and as thick as a tower provokes Fang Yuan in a small valley. It has a sharp horn on its head, blood eyes, a creepy purple tongue, and eerie blue flames on that tongue. Fang Yuan names it a rarely seen eerie fire dragon python. ch. 548
It opens its mouth and shoots a carriage-sized blue purple flame. From a few hundred steps away the heat dries Fang Yuan’s hair and eyebrows. He later kills it while testing an improved killer move. Its body carries many fire path wild Gu worms. Loot includes python blood useful for feeding blood path Gu worms, and the eerie fire snake gall, which is valuable enough to sell in treasure yellow heaven. They live in caves as a family. Fang Yuan finds six eggs about a hundred meters underground. Hatching needs daily bathing in eerie fire and python blood, and after hatching the young need teaching from an eerie fire dragon python on how to hunt. ch. 548

Charcoal lake breeding
Fang Yuan later builds charcoal lake in his immortal aperture as the second-best breeding ground for eerie fire dragon pythons. The optimal method is the arrangement used in Dong Fang tribe’s Jade Pool blessed land, but the early cost is too high for him, so he uses charcoal stones to construct the nest, places the pythons inside, and lets them develop. ch. 826
