Combat Beast King is the sole top rank of the Combat Beast Guild inside Beast Calamity grotto-heaven, a thin old guild master who gathers Warriors against beast calamities and later calls Zhan Bu Du a little savior.

In Star Snail Hall a red haired boor shouts for Lord Combat Beast King to command the assembled Combat Beast Warriors against the Bull-headed Demon God. The old man answers solemnly that the first generation Combat Beast King died killing the star sea snail whose corpse is that hall, and that this Bull-headed Demon God is at the same level, so they must battle with the awareness of death. ch. 1688

Golden fog rescue

As guild master and current generation Combat Beast King he speaks to youngsters about the golden fog on the river, saying the younger and stronger enter and leave more easily, and that most Combat Beast Warriors are trapped inside. He stirs them as saviors of the world, then gives Zhan Bu Du lifespan Gu so the child will not sacrifice himself in vain and can stay youthful enough to enter the fog. ch. 1854

Little savior

He cannot tell that Fang Yuan’s Twelve Zodiac battle formation is the true cause of the chaos and thinks the golden fog is at fault. He rewards Zhan Bu Du on the spot and shouts that Little Du is truly their little savior who saved everyone and saved the entire world indirectly. ch. 1855
