Centuries into his life Chai Fu never finds a lifespan Gu and exhausts other lifespan extension methods; he leaves closed cultivation as a rank eight lone cultivator with his life nearing its end. Below the mountain where he had secluded himself he finds a village of his own descendants from a hundred years earlier, restrains a murderous rage at their thriving while his own life ends, and decides instead to leave behind an inheritance. He names the human path killer move he conceived during that seclusion congregated human talent, a technique that concentrates many people’s aptitude into a small group, and uses it together with Human Smoke Mountain’s location to establish Chai clan, which has transferred outsiders’ aptitude into his own bloodline’s descendants ever since. ch. 2138
