Fetus Earth Maze
Ye Fan greets his master Lu Wei Yin, who wears a conical hat hiding his face. The two Yi clan Gu Immortals, forced out of the lake as the immortal battlefield forms, take him for a rank eight Gu Immortal. Tie Mian Shen notes a Southern Border aura but is sure the stranger is definitely not of the righteous path. Fang Yuan smiles coldly. ch. 1538
He judges the man a hypocrite who built the battlefield long ago and could have saved Shang clan and Hou clan’s Gu Immortals. Three breaths future vision gave no warning. Its core Immortal Gu After is only rank seven. Against a rank eight Gu Immortal he is still inferior, yet he stays calm because he has modified reverse flow protection seal beyond any Heavenly Court counter. ch. 1538
Fang Yuan uses Myriad Dragon, but Lu Wei Yin is completely unconcerned. He answers with the immortal killer move Descending Sand, a rain of sand that completely weakens the sword dragons, shrinking them into white earthworms the size of an arm. Fang Yuan realizes something from the move. Lu Wei Yin suspects that Fang Yuan knows his identity, and inwardly judges him a truly otherworldly demon. ch. 1538
Lu Wei Yin calls on every Gu Immortal and Gu Master to unite against the demon, since he cannot protect those without the will to resist. Ye Fan agrees, and the upper extreme heavenly eagle lands, hating Fang Yuan for its lost freedom. Tie Mian Shen joins, reasoning that the enemy of an enemy is a friend, and the Yi clan Gu Immortals follow. The mortal Gu Masters summon fighting spirits too, as Lu Wei Yin leads and Fang Yuan intends to kill them. Only Shang Xin Ci refuses, because Fang Yuan is her benefactor. She will not be an enemy of Brother Hei Tu, even if he kills her. ch. 1538
Lu Wei Yin asks Fang Yuan to evaluate Mud Piled Into a Wall. As everyone’s battle will pours in, walls rise beside Fang Yuan at an incredible speed. His attacks, very weak under descending sand, cannot smash them. The yellow walls have no offense but surround him. Lu Wei Yin then uses Six Directional Maze, a third killer move. ch. 1538
The three rank eight moves fuse into fetus earth maze, a huge maze of incredible power that completely envelops Fang Yuan. He loses his sense of direction and completely forgets the path he came from. Attacks on the walls become extremely weak, since the walls carry the effect of descending sand. Fang Yuan sees that brute force will not free him and that the battlefield’s weakness must be exposed. He sits down and closes his eyes, using wisdom path methods. ch. 1538
