How the chain works
Earlier he could only use the first two methods as supplements. After Fang Yuan escaped his pursuit, he returned to Central Continent, cultivated hard, learned whistle finger, and formed Triple Extreme Sound from all three. He cycles fist, palm, and finger in a fluid sequence that spends little immortal essence per strike while power rises slightly with each use. The amplification per strike is small, but rapid chaining for about a hundred attacks in a short span makes the move grow stronger as the count rises. Sound waves from that barrage stagger the silver giant and leave the hairy man Gu Immortals inside it dizzy. Third Hair’s wooden armor later absorbs those sound waves completely, cutting the move’s effect in that clash. ch. 1541
Core Gu risk
After Immortal Gu are stolen from his aperture, he fears that a stolen Immortal Gu might be the core of Triple Extreme Sound, which would make activation fail and cause backlash. He drops the move, keeps teleporting with yang pass tune, and leans on other sound-wave methods while escaping yama children. ch. 1578
