In Central Continent, after three rank eight Gu Immortals corner Fang Yuan, a fourth appears above him and activates the immortal battlefield killer move Rumor Cage, trapping him before he can react. Battlefield form
The cage is woven from many silver text characters, some large as horse carriages and some small as ants, into a huge ball that envelops Fang Yuan and the four rank eights. Gaps between characters leave the ball connected to the outside world rather than fully sealed. Inside it, all other paths are suppressed and only information path is amplified. Offense inside the cage
Inside the battlefield Zhou Xiong Xin casts Malicious Rumors and Rumors Become Tigers. Silver characters blaze, silvery light gathers, and silver tigers emerge that regenerate with the battlefield and grow stronger over time. ch. 1700 Central Continent watchers treat the three-move combination as endlessly raising Zhou Xiong Xin’s battle strength. ch. 1701
Central Continent ambush
Fang Yuan triggers a huge formation in outer Central Continent that smashes Rumor Cage like an egg. The break causes backlash that makes Zhou Xiong Xin spit blood; Fang Yuan then kills him with Spring Scissors while the formation stalls the other three rank eights. ch. 1701 Duke Long later reads the report as Fang Yuan using an immortal formation to destroy Rumor Cage after stalling so the wills of Central Continent’s people made the battlefield far stronger than its original level, so the destruction injured Zhou Xiong Xin beyond endurance. ch. 1702 Fang Yuan’s recounting adds that the formation first broke Rumor Cage’s connection with the outside world, then crushed the battlefield, and that the stall gave him the breath needed to kill Zhou Xiong Xin. ch. 1703
Trapping Chi Qu You
At Hairy Foot Mountain, Zhou Xiong Xin appears above Chi Qu You and activates Rumor Cage again. It is the fastest battlefield killer move in the world and number one in the five regions for setup speed; Chi Qu You cannot dodge in time. The battlefield shrinks to a vanishing point while Heavenly Court Gu Immortals block rescue, and Chi Qu You dies inside to information path tigers before the cage dissipates. ch. 1932
