Heavenly Wish is the feathermen's immortal killer move. Guided wishes and white light can teleport a gathered clan out of Sacred Feather City, and that transport can drop them into another Gu Immortal's blessed land as an earthly calamity.
Under siege at Sacred Feather City, Zheng Ling and Zhou Zhong gather the remaining feathermen and activate the immortal killer move heavenly wish after deciding they cannot break out with the house immobilized. Tens of thousands shout three wishes for the clan to survive, gain freedom, and have a place to live; pure white light grows over the city and a strong force teleports the feathermen away, leaving the empty Immortal Gu House for White Sea Shatuo. They arrive in Tai Bai Yun Sheng’s blessed land as an earthly calamity, with mystical light and the same wish-prayers preceding the landing. ch. 865
Without Sacred Feather City’s protection, heavenly wish needs a huge amount of immortal essence and a lot of time to activate, so it is basically impossible to replicate their act of escaping earlier. ch. 866
Soul search yield
From Zheng Ling’s soul, Fang Yuan obtains a complete wind path inheritance and the immortal killer move heavenly wish, plus information on Sacred Feather City and the green heaven fragment world the feathermen lived in. ch. 903 When the feathermen gather and activate heavenly wish again, Fang Yuan is carried with them through white light and a white tunnel, then lands in a human Gu Immortal’s blessed land as an earthly calamity. ch. 978 He later notes that Zhou Zhong had once used heavenly wish to descend into Tai Bai blessed land as an earthly calamity, and treats that history as a reason not to expose Zhou Zhong to his sovereign immortal aperture lightly. ch. 1099
Wish power
Sacred Feather City’s specialty includes absorbing wish power from past and present generations of feathermen in the city to refine wish power mortal Gu automatically. Heavenly wish already expended a large number of those Gu, yet more than half remained afterward, and the feathermen did not know other ways to use them. ch. 1007
