Five Restriction Profound Light Qi is an immortal killer move from Tao Zhu's true inheritance. Once activated, it shoots out light qi made of five colors.
After Fang Yuan obtains the entirety of Tao Zhu’s true inheritance, this move stands with five regional limit formation as the essence of that inheritance. The light qi’s effect is similar to regional walls: within it, Gu Immortals of the five regions face backlash, and the stronger their move, the greater the backlash. Fang Yuan is a special existence and is not restricted inside this light qi. Both this move and the formation use Region and Limit as the cores, with a vast number of supplementary mortal Gu. If he creates the formation, he cannot use this move. If he chooses this move, he would not have enough time in battle to set up the formation. This move is more convenient and stronger, but it cannot last as long as a formation. Each use expends a vast amount of earth qi in the immortal aperture. ch. 1787
First activation
Fang Yuan practises the contents of Tao Zhu’s true inheritance. Gu worms spiral, immortal essence is injected, and a grand light qi bursts out like a fountain. It is purple-black, smoky in appearance, resembling light, and makes one think of Southern Border’s miasma regional wall. This is the southern restriction purple-black miasma light qi. The other four are central restriction white-gold saint light qi, northern restriction jade licorice light qi, western restriction red raging flame light qi, and eastern restriction blue water light qi. He has just started learning it and can only unleash one type of light qi. He cannot summon two at once. ch. 1793
Practice
After a period of painstaking training he can already use all five colored lights at the same time, but he is still some distance from becoming completely proficient. ch. 1803
