Inside Ice Crystal grotto-heaven, while Heavenly Court’s Demon Judgment Board presses the two heavens, Ice Crystal Immortal Monarch finishes activating this immortal killer move as allies block the board and An Xun’s immemorial soul beast takes a blood-red strike meant for him. Spectral Soul Demon Venerable, speaking through An Xun, judges that the move’s activation itself raises the caster’s defense so a hit would injure him without stopping the cast. Ice Crystal Immortal Monarch conceals every trace of his aura and turns the completed strike onto Demon Judgment Board before Fang Zheng can answer in time. ch. 1995
The lights hit Demon Judgment Board from every side; each light becomes a small ice piece, layers thicken within breaths, and Fang Zheng finds that thicker ice amplifies later lights while the frost reacts toward any breakout point he melts. Fang Zheng judges the move unavoidable from the start, with its true strength arriving later as time drags on. Spectral Soul calls it a snowman racial inheritance kept from when variant humans ruled: its core is the variant human user rather than an Immortal Gu, it spends Ice Crystal Immortal Monarch’s ice and snow path dao marks plus lifespan, other races cannot use it even if they obtain it, and as a core snowman move it is little hurt by the change of eras. While turned into frost lights the caster cannot be fought as an ordinary body; Prince Feng Xian and Bai Cang Shui later crack the ice from outside, then Spectral Soul’s soul beast army pins them until the lights reseal the board in a thick ice coffin, until a qi tide forces the lights to protect snowman Gu Immortals and Heavenly Court escapes with the board. ch. 1995
Activation cost
When the frost lights gather back into Ice Crystal Immortal Monarch, his aura is weak and his face is pale; the activation price is very high, yet he almost singlehandedly sealed Demon Judgment Board and far surpasses the other rank eight Gu Immortals of the two heavens in battle strength because he holds this move. He is unhappy that the race’s unique killer move was exposed, and can only tell himself it remains hard to counter for a time. ch. 1996

Cast timing
Against Nie Kuang Feng in Crazed Demon Cave’s eighth layer, Ice Crystal Immortal Monarch is trapped in Wind Suction Life Twister before he can cast; stronger killer moves need longer time, and in that fight he never finds the opening, while a mid-deadlock cast would expose weakness and lose decisive effect if the enemy is ready. ch. 2166
Cut Grass pairing
Recovered and fighting Nie Kuang Feng together with Xiao He Jian, Ice Crystal Immortal Monarch activates the move again: aura vanishes, his body becomes frost lights, and Nie Kuang Feng is sealed in a mountain-like ice coffin where thicker ice amplifies the lights. Nie Kuang Feng demonizes, cracks spread from inside, and Xiao He Jian’s Cut Grass pierces through those cracks until Nie Kuang Feng dies under both of them. ch. 2178
