Vicissitude tree

Outside Xie Bao Shu’s jade pavilion in Eastern Sea’s clear sea area, large patches of vicissitude trees grow, and You Xian Zi notes it is time to harvest year Gu again. Vicissitude trees are an immortal material, but their usage is very narrow: they hold many kinds of dao marks and are very impure, so few Gu Immortals pay attention to them. Xie Bao Shu plants them on a large scale and uses an ingenious method to raise and attract wild year Gu with them, becoming one of the three giants of the year Gu market. Wang Ming Yue names his method among the three sellers: Eastern Sea’s Xie Bao Shu uses vicissitude trees to nurture year Gu. ^{ch. 1452}
