Oil water

Oil water is not ordinary water. It is a resource found in the depths of deep seas, used as a Gu refinement material, extremely common in Eastern Sea and rather rare in Northern Plains and Western Desert. Small amounts almost never trade in treasure yellow heaven because profits are too low against the fee; large bulk deals are also infrequent, since Eastern Sea cultivators largely use what they produce. ^{ch. 797}

It forms in deep water and large trenches. Extraction needs specific Gu worms and specialist Gu Masters whose sets are built for drawing it; they have high social status among Eastern Sea forces despite low battle strength. ^{ch. 797}

Dong Fang tribe stores oil water in deep jade pools that reach underground and draw traces of earth qi. Clear water is added at intervals so earth qi and oil water mix and the pool gradually restores its original concentration, producing more oil water from oil water. ^{ch. 797}

Oil water is precious, but it is not immortal material. Fang Yuan still gathers it with Immortal Gu Pulling Water for the earlier stages of Central Continent’s Refinement Path Convention, calling that use overkill relative to green grape immortal essence cost. ^{ch. 797}

After entering Jade Pool blessed land, Fang Yuan obtains oil water among other resources taken from the pools. ^{ch. 800} He later keeps thousands of kilograms of oil water in Dang Hun palace storerooms and refuses to sell it, reserving it for those earlier Refinement Path Convention stages. ^{ch. 809 ch. 810 ch. 827}

Cataloging his sovereign immortal aperture, Fang Yuan counts some oil water in Mini Eastern Sea, listed with the air bubble fish group and some rare literature carps. ^{ch. 1291}
