Immemorial desolate beast corpse

Lang Ya land spirit’s Tai Qiu map marks three locations as areas of the corpses of immemorial desolate beasts, and Fang Yuan is told to prioritize inspecting them as places to set up a teleportation Gu formation. ^{ch. 1085}

Deep in Tai Qiu, Fang Yuan sees a mountain-like red corpse with buds of blue flames still burning on the bones. It is an immemorial desolate beast’s corpse that seems to have just died; the immemorial aura is overwhelming, and even the beast tide avoids it subconsciously. ^{ch. 1088}

Up close the corpse resembles an elephant: tattered grey-blue skin over dried and rotten flesh and blood, white skeleton forming a rack like a half-collapsed tent. Even dead, its water path dao marks remain in bones and skin and affect the area; a nearly complete immemorial desolate elephant corpse holds a terrifying number of dao marks compared with smaller immemorial immortal materials. Once a beast tide has formed, it cannot be steered to charge at the immemorial desolate beast corpse in the short run, so the area by the corpse is safe for Fang Yuan to work. ^{ch. 1089}

After a green claw ghost winged lion dies, Dancer Hong Yun calls its corpse the corpse of an immemorial desolate beast: rank eight immortal materials rare even in treasure yellow heaven, able to refine rank eight Immortal Gu. ^{ch. 1413}
