In Northern Plains, Fairy Li Shan and Qin Bai Sheng visit the guest hall, where rank eight Prince Feng Xian sits upright as they bow and request to leave. He praises their auction for preventing fights and massacres, and says he has many Immortal Gu that do not suit his path and need exchanging there. He cannot attend himself because he was mediating heaven and earth qi in his immortal aperture when forced out by Immortal Gu work, and now must manage that world; he will send a representative instead. Swordmaster You Lan, one of two rank six female attendant Gu Immortals, leads the guests along a long corridor through several doors, then out of the entrance back into Northern Plains and closes it. Auction proxy
After the guests leave, Feng Jiu Ge appears in the entrance hall and agrees to take Prince Feng Xian’s place at the auction. Prince Feng Xian warns that Feng Jiu Ge became immortal in Central Continent, so his aperture’s heaven and earth qi differ from Northern Plains, and that discovery among furious Northern Plains Gu Immortals hunting the Imperial Court culprit would be disastrous. Feng Jiu Ge uses vaguely familiar face to become an exact copy of Swordmaster You Lan, including disguised dao marks and a Northern Plains aura. Feng Jiu Ge praises the prince for ascending in Northern Plains for Spirit Affinity House’s major task and staying hidden for hundreds of years; Prince Feng Xian is a spy sent by Spirit Affinity House. ch. 744

Fire path deduction
Later he sits in the grotto-heaven with flames around him, spits fireballs for a deduction that fails to find Fang Yuan, and refuses a Gong tribe visit that brings a Longevity Edict. ch. 1190
