Strong eat the weak

Ren Zu takes a long time to recover from the anguish of losing freedom Gu, then asks cognition Gu how to win it back. Cognition Gu asks why he wants it so badly, and reminds him he already gave fate Gu that same answer, before his madness, when he vowed to rely on his own strength and wisdom. Ren Zu realizes he has strength but lacks wisdom, and that self Gu must eat a mouthful of wisdom Gu as it once ate part of strength Gu, but since wisdom Gu has no fixed home, cognition Gu tells him to search alone. On the road he finds two Gu chasing each other, a small white one fleeing and begging not to be eaten and a larger armored one vowing to eat it regardless. The fleeing Gu hides behind Ren Zu, and when he sees its plight as his own a new heart grows in his chest, the heart of sympathy, and he stops the pursuit. The armored Gu names itself strong Gu and the fleeing one weak Gu, and refuses his plea for mercy, since nature’s law is that the strong eat the weak.
