In The Legends of Ren Zu, the sky of the immemorial antiquity era had nine levels: white heaven, red heaven, orange heaven, yellow heaven, green heaven, azure heaven, blue heaven, purple heaven, and black heaven. ch. 371
At present, red, orange, yellow, green, azure, blue, and purple heavens are no more, and only white heaven and black heaven remain. Sunlight has weakened so that it can pierce only white heaven. ch. 389
Chu Du exploration
After a tribulation thinned his foundation, Chu Du broke through the heavenly wind qi wall and entered deep within white heaven to explore and replenish resources. He made some profits but suffered injuries; healing them cost him heavily overall. From that exploration he obtained three hundred kilograms of true heaven silver, a material extremely rare even in treasure yellow heaven. ch. 755
Destiny light deer and the nine heavens
When the second wave of tribulation sends white light deer charging out of the sky, watching Gu Immortals remark that destiny light deer carry nine colors matching the immemorial nine heavens, and judge that these white ones should come from white heaven. ch. 1008
Qi tides and both heavens
Qi tides from the fused five regions sweep the whole world, and black heaven and white heaven are not exempted; wherever a qi tide reaches, grotto-heavens can no longer stay concealed. Many grotto-heavens hide within black and white heaven. After humans dominate the five regions, variant humans choose black and white heaven as top places to relocate; those heavens become their foundation while human Gu Immortals mostly explore them for resources and rarely place grotto-heavens there. ch. 1969

The sun’s route
The sun travels east to west in white heaven; when the heavens swap, night covers the five regions; then, in white heaven that is above black heaven, the sun returns west to east before they swap again. When white heaven and black heaven are absent from the sky in a strange recent change, day and night can no longer be told apart. ch. 2226
