Pine Island Gu

At Lang Ya blessed land, Fang Yuan asks Inkman King for three Small Swamp Gu and six pine island Gu. Inkman King has never heard of them. Lang Ya land spirit calls both olden antiquity Gu worms and explains that pine island Gu can create a floating island on the sea, with a huge tree whose roots extend and hold the soil together. ^{ch. 671}

Rarity and purchase

Lang Ya land spirit keeps up to a hundred little swamp Gu and pine island Gu in his collection from past refinements, and says the materials to refine them are now extinct. Little swamp Gu and pine island Gu are not sold in treasure yellow heaven. Fang Yuan pays one immortal essence stone and receives three little swamp Gu with six pine island Gu. ^{ch. 671}

Final piece with Small Swamp Gu

Back in Hu Immortal blessed land, Fang Yuan treats small swamp Gu and pine island Gu as the final missing pieces for sealing Spring Autumn Cicada. After seven days and seven nights he plants large numbers of Gu worms on his first aperture and around his stomach; their linked effects form a seal that eases the cicada’s pressure, vents modified aura, and still allows the cicada to activate. ^{ch. 671} A later tally includes small swamp Gu and pine island Gu among purchases made to seal Spring Autumn Cicada. ^{ch. 672}
