Fang Yuan counts seventy-eight pieces of green grape immortal essence in the golden bowl, plus a layer of blue-green immortal liquid essence at the bottom, amounting to seventy-eight and a half. One bead feeds Fixed Immortal Travel Gu: the Immortal Gu lands on the bead, consumes it, and after that feeding does not need food for about six years. ch. 410
Finite store after death
Hu Immortal blessed land holds only seventy-eight beads. After one bead feeds Fixed Immortal Travel and two more teleport a swamp crab, the land spirit reports the cost. Because Hu Immortal is already dead, these green grape immortal essence beads cannot be replenished; each bead used is one less for later. ch. 416
Limitless mortal essence
When Fang Yuan wills a bead of green grape immortal essence into his strength path immortal aperture, it spreads through the blessed land and turns into almost limitless primeval essence.
