She is a rank three healing Gu Master that Shang Yan Fei sent to assist Shang Xin Ci, reliable and trustworthy. ^{ch. 325} Fang Yuan later lists her with Xiao Die among Xin Ci’s trustworthy assistants while building the young master framework beside Wei De Xin and the Xiong brothers. ^{ch. 331}

On a nameless small mountain during a night rainstorm, she is heavily injured as one of three Gu Masters defending against Shang Bi Xi, the other two being Shang Xin Ci and Ye Fan. ^{ch. 1059}

At Xin Ci’s succession she weeps that the young miss differs from Shang Yan Fei’s other children. She was an orphan adopted by Shang Yan Fei when young, capable enough that he gave her to Shang Xin Ci, and after Shang Yan Fei died on Yi Tian Mountain her loyalty transferred fully to Shang Xin Ci. ^{ch. 1072}
