Wu Ye

On the eagle’s back, Yang Po Ying orders Wu Ye and others to restrain experts near Chang Shan Yin. Wu Ye is called Green Bat, one of the three flying masters in Northern Plains. Of those three, Flying Lightning Dong Po Kong has returned to Dong Fang tribe’s blessed land and Water Fairy Song Qing Yin has already died in battle; only Green Bat Wu Ye remains, recruited by Ma tribe and left specifically to deal with the new flying master Chang Shan Yin. He questions whether striking will leave Yang Po Ying exposed, then moves with the other flyers when Yang Po Ying claims thunder eagle protection and points to assassin Wu Ming. ^{ch. 540}

Wu Ye and Xi Xue later pincer Fang Yuan as Fang Yuan drives toward Ma Zun. Fang Yuan shakes Xi Xue aside, breaks Wu Ye’s defensive light barrier in half a breath, matches Wu Ye’s master level dodge with his own flying, and smashes half of Wu Ye’s body into paste. A generation’s flying master and demonic path expert falls there. ^{ch. 541} Later Ma tribe survivors name Wu Ye among the famous experts Fang Yuan killed in that stretch, and Fang Yuan’s own battle summary lists him the same way. ^{ch. 543 ch. 544}
