Miao Yue notes they have only joined Defy for a short time and know little about the boss, yet the first contact demands Immortal Gu. Miao Jun says they joined Defy for help leaving Immortal Crane Sect, received none earlier, and calls the boss shameless for now wanting to borrow Immortal Gu. Narration places Great Heavenly Sword Sect as taken care of by Immortal Crane Sect after they tried to leave, making Miao Jun and Miao Yue’s lives tough. They refuse the loan, and Ying Wu Xie later grits his teeth at their names. ch. 1030
