Fei Li

He has rank four middle stage cultivation and walks the strength path. He kowtows and begs Lord Fang Zheng for mercy. Fang Yuan demands expend strength Gu first. That Gu is Fei Li’s vital Gu and core Gu; it makes enemies waste more strength in every movement and doubles their stamina expenditure. ^{ch. 341}

Fei Li hesitates, then hands it over, suffers vital Gu backlash, and spurts blood. When he protests that it is his most precious Gu, Fang Yuan’s beast phantoms turn him into minced meat. Fang Yuan looks at the corpse and sneers “Pauper.” Camp talk then pairs the killing with Tyrant Heng Mei’s death and Fang Yuan’s challenge to Sky Tiger Xue San Si. ^{ch. 341}

Later talk on the mountain treats him as one of the rank four middle stage seniors Fang Yuan crushed while still at initial stage, and Xue San Si measures her own strength as about the same as Tyrant Heng Mei and Fei Li. She also reads Fei Li as a sacrifice for Fang Yuan’s ambition to step on seniors’ corpses for reputation. Fang Yuan later tells her he has already “sparred” with Tyrant Heng Mei and Fei Li. ^{ch. 342}

After killing Xue San Si, Fang Yuan notes that she differed from Tyrant Heng Mei and Fei Li because she had flying type Gu and could rise out of his reach if the fight turned bad. ^{ch. 343}

Li Xian notes that Tyrant Heng Mei, Fei Li, and Xue San Si had cultivation higher than Fang Yuan and still died in his hands. ^{ch. 344}

Narration later counts Fang Yuan’s three straight wins as wins against rank four demonic Gu Masters, and states that the only Gu he gained from that streak was expend strength Gu, handed over by Fei Li of his own accord. ^{ch. 345}

Flatterers later list Fei Li among those Fang Yuan killed after arriving at San Cha Mountain. ^{ch. 352}
