Interior rain

Lang Ya land spirit hands Fang Yuan a basin of interior rain while preparing to refine change form Immortal Gu, warning him to be careful because the rank six immortal material is quite heavy. Fang Yuan feels a strong gravitational pull when he takes it. The water is clear and transparent with traces of green; even when the basin is held steady, the surface ripples as if struck by rain. Its actual weight is not high, yet it brings a psychological burden to the life form holding it, which is why the land spirit stresses heavy in that sense. Interior rain is the first processing problem in that refinement. Processing it properly is not simple freezing: more than fifty steps, more than twenty Gu refinement methods, and thirty refinement path mortal killer moves must finish within several minutes. After wasting three basins, Fang Yuan succeeds on the fourth; the processed interior rain resembles frozen ice like completely transparent jade. ^{ch. 1065}

Over the following days Fang Yuan becomes skilled at processing interior rain, and Lang Ya land spirit then gives him further immortal materials to practise the same Gu refinement technique. ^{ch. 1066}

When the change form Immortal Gu refinement begins, Lang Ya land spirit uses a dual Immortal Gu refinement method: the land spirit works the hairy man Gu refinement method while Fang Yuan processes the important immortal materials, and both roles hold equal importance. Fang Yuan’s first move in that role is to take out a large basin of interior rain. ^{ch. 1067}

In the sovereign immortal aperture, Interior Rain mountain’s peak stays shrouded in dark clouds from which light rain falls. That drizzle is rank six immortal material interior rain. ^{ch. 1615}

The same mountain is later named as a resource point that produced water path immortal materials, with interior rain as the rank six product of that continuous light rain. ^{ch. 2050}
