Deepsea lightning eels

Worldly Wave Trace needs thousands of deepsea lightning eels, together with tens of thousands of underworld jellyfish. Fang Yuan names thousands of deepsea lightning eels among the foods he needs for his Immortal Gu and calls them, with underworld jellyfish, specialties of eastern sea. He puts them on the list Tai Bai Yun Sheng carries toward Hai Shi blessed land. ^{ch. 673}

Deepsea lightning eels are rarely seen because Gu Immortals must enter the deep sea to capture them, which is dangerous, and the sea areas where they are abundant are already controlled by Eastern Sea Zombie Alliance. Tai Bai Yun Sheng suggests joining that alliance to buy the eels internally at a cheaper price; Fang Yuan refuses rather than abandon his northern plains plan. ^{ch. 679}

Tai Bai Yun Sheng meets Shark Demon, a Zombie Alliance immortal zombie bringing large amounts of goods toward Hai Shi blessed land, including many deepsea lightning eels. Shark Demon sells the eels only after Tai Bai Yun Sheng agrees to help repair a secret blessed land entrance, so the eels cost no immortal essence stones. Tai Bai Yun Sheng wins that immortal zombie’s trust by accepting on himself a rank seven rule path Immortal Gu, Death Sentence Awaits, which can set the time of a person’s death. Fang Yuan inspects the delivery with surprise before using those eels, with the jellyfish, to feed worldly wave trace Immortal Gu. ^{ch. 683}

Deepsea lightning eels remain rare in the market; without Tai Bai Yun Sheng’s encounter with Shark Demon and the risk he took to his own life, Fang Yuan would not have obtained the required amount. ^{ch. 709}

A water path Gu Immortal whose blessed land is a sea can raise deepsea lightning eels, underworld jellyfish, and similar stock inside it after obtaining Worldly Wave Trace, and draw those materials to keep the Immortal Gu fed. ^{ch. 710}
