When Lang Ya blessed land is attacked, Lang Ya land spirit activates twelve wave cloud confusion formation. The twelve cloud buildings are mortal Gu Houses and serve as the formation cores. Boundless fog fills the field so dense one cannot see one’s hands, and the sky and ground cannot be seen. ch. 872
Fog maze
The arrangement is a fog formation that resembles a maze. It is not elevated to a battlefield killer move, but it is only one step away. Lang Ya land spirit avoids carving new dao marks for a battlefield killer move because those marks would conflict with the blessed land’s own dao marks and damage it. Inside the formation, a Gu Immortal’s five senses are messed up, so they cannot tell direction and may walk in circles. Only an investigative immortal killer move lets them navigate. The formation is entirely destroyed only when all twelve cloud buildings fall. Once set up, the cloud buildings cannot be moved. ch. 873
Formation broken
When the last remaining cloud building is destroyed, the boundless fog disperses and twelve wave cloud confusion formation is broken. White sky and white cloud soil ground remain in view. ch. 882
Twelve cloud cities
On Cloud Cover Continent there are twelve cloud cities, each a mortal Gu House. When activated together they can form twelve wave cloud confusion formation and cover the entirety of Cloud Cover Continent. Those twelve cloud cities were created from the former twelve cloud buildings. ch. 1074
