Realm on a path climbs a fixed ladder from ordinary to supreme grandmaster. Quasi-master is the quasi step between ordinary and master. It is not one of the five main levels (ordinary, master, grandmaster, great grandmaster, and supreme grandmaster); those main levels are the rungs the quasi steps sit between. ch. 687 ch. 1326

Dream realm shortcut
Dream realms can raise a path into quasi-master without normal practice. Feng Jin Huang finds her refinement path realm at quasi-master after a dream realm journey, even though she had never practiced refinement path normally. ch. 730 Fang Yuan’s wisdom path attainment likewise jumps from extremely ordinary to quasi-master after exploring Star Constellation Immortal Venerable’s dream realm. ch. 914
Convention floor
In the Refinement Path Convention, those who get through seven rounds are essentially quasi-masters at least, though some lucky entrants with lower attainment still appear among them. ch. 838
Above ordinary
Ordinary attainment is the level most Gu Masters reach in their lifetimes. Quasi-master sits above that lasting height, and most Gu Masters find it difficult to reach even this step no matter how much effort they put in. ch. 1326
