Yu Fei is a young featherman with short black hair and a thin build who fights on the arena ground in Sacred Feather City after the featherman king dies.
Prince Dan Yu, a tall and burly featherman youngster with golden hair, flies at rank five and attacks from long range. Yu Fei sprints and rolls on the ground. His body is covered in dirt. He looks like a rat jumping around on the arena. Dan Yu has broken his wings. Yu Fei refuses to admit defeat. He uses the killer move Inflated Balloon, sucking in air until his body inflates and floats. He follows with Coiling Tree Vines, Crane Crossing Neck, and Six-nine Great Windmill. Dan Yu crashes head first through the brick floor and loses consciousness. The hosting featherman elder announces Yu Fei as the new king of the clan. Sacred Feather City chants his name. The young Yu Fei places his arms on his waist and laughs with his head held high, then grimaces and touches his wings with the back of his hand. Three featherman Gu Immortals call him quite different from the other kings, and take him to want to expand featherman territory. A crack opens in the green sky. Yu Fei loses his balance and crashes onto the ground. ch. 864

After the invasion
He has just become the featherman king. He was a commoner, unlike Prince Dan Yu, and this is the first time he has seen a Gu Immortal. He feels shock and helplessness. He shouts that even if they die, they will not become slaves. Dan Yu scolds him as the new king to think of the clan first. Yu Fei falls silent. No matter how hot-blooded he is, the gap in battle strength cannot be breached. ch. 866
New ambition
The new featherman king has a better expression. His eyes shine brightly as he looks at the two Gu Immortals of the featherman clan. He decides he must become a Gu Immortal, even if he needs to give up being king. ch. 867
Death
After Zhou Zhong dies rather than become a slave, the new featherman king shouts that he also is not willing to be a slave, tells the others to choose a new featherman king, and says he will follow old ancestor Zhou Zhong. He suicides on the spot. His action, with Zhou Zhong’s, inspires the rest of this group to choose death the same way. ch. 869
