Liu Hui is a rank six righteous path elder of Liu tribe, an earth path Gu Immortal whose killer move grey rock moon turns those it strikes to stone.
In the blood plain martial competition he raises both arms and condenses a thin pale crescent covered in a grey halo. Spectators name the move grey rock moon and say those struck solidify into stone, with even an immortal aperture contaminated until it turns rocky. Righteous path observers inside Golden Dawn Hall call him Elder Liu Hui. ch. 1195
Death to Xue Wu Hen
Xue Wu Hen coats himself in regenerating ice and frost so the grey moonlight cannot reach his body, then charges while Liu Hui must keep both hands raised to sustain the moon. A wave of snow and frost submerges the immobile elder. Liu Hui dies, and the hall erupts in shock that a nameless demonic path fighter killed him. Xue Wu Hen’s aperture still shows rocky contamination from the move afterward. ch. 1195
Corpse and aperture
Competition rules leave Liu Hui’s corpse and immortal aperture as Xue Wu Hen’s spoils. Narration and Fang Yuan identify him as a rank six earth path Gu Immortal who has gone through two heavenly tribulations, and Fang Yuan wants the blessed land to annex toward rank seven. Xue Wu Hen says he could not get Liu Hui’s Immortal Gu but will not sell the aperture resources without knowing their value. ch. 1196
Soul returned to Liu tribe
Liu Hui’s soul has not been destroyed. Liu Zhuan Shen offers Granny Yin’s corpse to exchange for Elder Liu Hui’s corpse and soul, noting Granny Yin was rank seven while Liu Hui was only rank six. Chu Du had been pitching collaboration with Liu Guan Yi over the aperture resources before that trade intervenes. ch. 1197
