Che You Yin is a Che clan elder and rank three Gu Master who faces Zuo Wu Sheng during a San Cha mountain fight.
After vowing that all three Zuo clan fighters will die without a proper burial, he tells Xiang Er to stay back on lookout because of her injury. When Che Qiao Xiang argues that the wound is slight and she wants to fight beside him, he chides her and orders her to obey as her father. ch. 323
Ambush and hostage taking
When Kong Ri Tian appears, Che You Yin and Zuo Wu Sheng show intense fear and name him. Narration places the two as the main fighters, both injured and only rank three. After the petal assault they sigh in relief when he seems to retreat, then their faces change. Che You Yin shouts for Qiao Xiang and demands the scoundrel release his daughter as Kong Ri Tian holds the unconscious Che Qiao Xiang and Zuo Chan Yu. The three kings inheritance pillars then erupt. ch. 323
