Beast Calamity Immortal

Beast Calamity Immortal had been heavily injured fighting the immemorial desolate beast star sea snail and suffered a fatal wound; on his deathbed he left behind his inheritances and forged the beast’s corpse into a final inheritance ground. A heavenly spirit in the form of a young qilin guards that ground and tells Fang Yuan that even though he has claimed several inheritances, he lacks full recognition: he may take Beast Calamity Immortal’s immortal killer moves but not his Immortal Gu or the grotto-heaven’s inheritance rights. ^{ch. 1689} The heavenly spirit is born from Beast Calamity Immortal’s own obsession rather than being an ordinary land spirit. ^{ch. 1854}

Fang Yuan names Beast Calamity Immortal’s unique method the immortal killer move myriad beings assimilation transformation, built from four Immortal Gu. Its core is rank eight Adaptation Gu, Beast Calamity Immortal’s vital Gu, with the other three Immortal Gu in the move at rank seven. Beast Calamity Immortal used the move on the entire grotto-heaven rather than teaching it to individuals, so in extremity the grotto-heaven itself could merge with its Gu Immortals for temporary rank eight battle strength. ^{ch. 1690}

Beast Calamity Immortal died after suffering heavy injuries in his first myriad tribulation, and the grotto-heaven he left behind went on to pass many further calamities and tribulations without him, nearing its own second myriad tribulation by the time Fang Yuan annexes it. ^{ch. 1703}
