During Fang clan’s assault on Divine Bean Palace inside peach blossom maze, Chen Yi shouts from within the palace and green light rises from the defending soul beasts, hardening into wooden armor from head to toe. Fang Di Chang names the effect as Divine Bean Palace’s immortal killer move green armor vegetable garden. Fang clan only knows the name and appearance then, not the exact effect, and Fang Yuan ties the move to Genesis Lotus Immortal Venerable before they probe it. ch. 1522
Linked armor defense
Fang clan’s strikes kill only a few soul beasts overall. The green armor can link together and split damage evenly, and even Fang Zhi’s poisonous cloud arrow sparrow shows little effect, so poison path does not open a clear hole. Enslavement path opening
Fang Yuan ignores the armor’s toughness and uses hundred and eighty slaves through flowery wind warriors to seize control of an immemorial soul beast. Fang Di Chang then treats enslavement path as the weakness of green armor vegetable garden and presses Fang Yuan to keep using that method. Chen Yi calls that outcome a pity: the current force is a soul beast army, not divine bean soldiers from Divine Bean Palace, which he judges would not fall to enslavement so easily. ch. 1523
