Living luck path immortal material

Like the spring dream fruit tree, luck path immortal materials have a special trait: if the material is a living luck path immortal material, it has to be alive. Refining the luck path Immortal Gu then requires a living refinement. ^{ch. 1284}

Only a living Ma Hong Yun has value as an immortal material for that work. A dead Ma Hong Yun is only a rank five Gu Master corpse. Lady Wan Shou has kept him alive rather than kill him before trying to refine the Gu, and Old Ancestor Xue Hu loses interest in the corpse once Ma Hong Yun dies of exhaustion. ^{ch. 1284}
