Impermanence rock

Impermanence rocks are a rank six immortal material found in green ghost desert in useful quantity. The rock is half black and half white. It only forms in places that constantly have battles, and therefore grows where lifeforms die. Those sites are dangerous even when the rock itself is not hard to seize for a strong Gu Immortal. ^{ch. 1513}

Impermanence rocks are rarely seen in treasure yellow heaven and are hard to buy there. Fang clan asks Fang Yuan to collect them in green ghost desert, offering a rank six Immortal Gu once he hands the rocks over. He already holds a batch gathered while hunting soul cores, because the rocks appear along ordinary travel through the desert. ^{ch. 1513}

When Fang An Lei formalizes an alliance with Fang Yuan against the Divine Bean Palace ambush, the impermanence rock project stays written into the agreement even though Divine Bean Palace has already been found and the rock task was only an excuse. Besides the rank six Immortal Gu, she also promises a large amount of immortal materials as compensation. Fang An Lei keeps that original project on purpose while the urgent fight forces loose alliance terms. ^{ch. 1517}

The collection of impermanence rock was Fang clan’s plan to make use of Fang Yuan, so she left the anti-plotting clause lax rather than bind herself. Fang Yuan sees the same loophole and pretends not to notice. ^{ch. 1519}

Impermanence rock is named among a large stock of earth path immortal materials packed into an immortal aperture when preparing for tribulation, alongside worry soil, green pond rotten soil, diamond soil, great lake soil, concealing heaven dust, grand soil, region sand, and other earth path stocks. ^{ch. 2133}
