Crocodile flesh

After a fight leaves a river beach red with the blood of six legged crocodiles, Fang Yuan gathers as much of the crocodile blood and flesh as he can and stores it in the tusita flower. Crocodile Strength Gu’s food is crocodile flesh. ^{ch. 205}

By the time Fang Yuan and Bai Ning Bing scout a lava crocodile, Crocodile Strength Gu’s food is running low: Fang Yuan says they have less than half of the crocodile meat left. Since another crocodile is not easy to find in the forest, he proposes testing the lava crocodile’s strength as a possible source. Five days of scouting for a beast king to set on it turn up no usable target, so Fang Yuan gives up on the lava crocodile king he wanted for raising Crocodile Strength Gu. ^{ch. 207}

Scraps of meat left on a slain lava crocodile king’s corpse, after a divine pheasant eats most of it, are cut out and stored; the crocodile meat is enough to feed Crocodile Strength Gu for three months. ^{ch. 208}

Fang Yuan is only able to keep feeding Crocodile Strength Gu because the Bai clan supplies him with large amounts of crocodile meat; without it, the Gu would have starved to death. ^{ch. 233}
