Arrow bamboo

In Star Form blessed land, the arrow bamboo forest is the largest plantation area. The arrow bamboos stand straight like green spear bamboo from Qing Mao Mountain, but their shoots are black, they grow no leaves, and only branches appear: about three sharp, arrow-like branches at each segment. Beneath the forest lie star cave rocks, dark fragrance mushrooms, and white shadow grass. ^{ch. 851}

The forest is the production area of star dart Gu. Star dart Gu forms when ordinary insects sleep forty-nine days inside star cave rock, and only a portion of those insects change; its food is the bamboo juice of the arrow bamboo forest. The forest is hot and humid, and the bamboos drip juice. When watering is good, that juice can form a thick blue fog suited to raising star dart Gu; without good watering liquids such as moon well water, the forest declines. ^{ch. 851}

Arrow bamboo forest is one of Star Form blessed land’s four main revenue sources, alongside meteorite pit, broken star lake, and star fragment grass fields. ^{ch. 851} After Star Form blessed land’s relocation earthquakes, the forest is unharmed, with two long cracks narrowly grazing its edge, and Fang Yuan has already collected most of its resources into Hu Immortal blessed land. Grown with large amounts of moon well water, it reaches its best condition and emits a light fog. ^{ch. 902}

Moved into Mini Blue Heaven with other star path resources on cloud soil, arrow bamboo forest still produces star path mortal Gu, but production falls sharply because that production depends on star path dao marks, and Mini Blue Heaven holds fewer of them than Star Form blessed land. ^{ch. 1066 ch. 1291} In quality, the forest grows with less vitality than it did in Star Form blessed land, even when its scale later increases. ^{ch. 1091}
