Sand Wolf City is one of Mo clan’s main cities. Plump Lady flies to the City Lord Manor without covering her tracks, is received as a revered immortal, and refuses a prepared banquet of the city’s best wine, delicacies, and fresh fruit so she can take a secret room for closed cultivation and gather apt, loyal Gu Masters as Immortal seeds. Entry costs one primeval stone per person at the gate. Mo Li’s house sits in the central area as a huge house with a garden of flowers. ch. 1973
City in ruins
When Mo Li’s merchant caravan returns, Sand Wolf City has become ruins: corpses everywhere, rubble and wreckage on the roads, fire and smoke. Peng Da calls it a large city that had many Gu Masters stationed, now destroyed and devoid of life. Traces point to a mountain-sized beast whose footprint crater marks a beast calamity rather than a qi tide. ch. 2015
