Forest Lightning grotto-heaven is the home grotto-heaven of Forest Lightning Grotto Lord. The two heavens alliance presses him over its qi harvest fruit after he contacts Qi Sea Ancestor.

Forest Lightning Grotto Lord points to a lightning forest in the grotto-heaven as the place where lightning Gu can be raised if the alliance provides resources. ch. 2021 No chapter gives a wider landscape description of the grotto-heaven.
Xiao He Jian confronts Forest Lightning Grotto Lord for betraying the two heavens alliance and colluding with Qi Sea Ancestor, saying the alliance wants to experiment on the qi harvest fruit in Forest Lightning grotto-heaven and that prior tests detonated the tested grotto-heavens. Forest Lightning Grotto Lord refuses to sacrifice his home and fled to the enemy instead. Alliance Gu Immortals chase him underground and treat the large grotto-heaven as secondary to killing its sole rank eight master. ch. 2020
Negotiation
Xiao He Jian relays that Wu Shuai will let Forest Lightning Grotto Lord go only if Forest Lightning grotto-heaven belongs to the alliance and the alliance will not risk the qi harvest fruit there. Forest Lightning Grotto Lord refuses a change of owners, offers to keep looking after lightning Gu, and proposes that the alliance raise rank nine lightning Gu in the lightning forest with supplied resources. ch. 2021
Destruction
Wu Shuai orders a fast kill without preserving lightning Gu, execution of the grotto-heaven’s Gu Immortals, and an attempt to remove the qi harvest fruit. After Forest Lightning Grotto Lord is beheaded, Forest Lightning grotto-heaven is destroyed. The qi harvest fruit experiment fails again, and most resources are ruined in the rush, so participants collect little. Fang Yuan as Wu Shuai chooses to destroy the grotto-heaven to kill the conflict with Heavenly Court over lightning Gu before it grows. ch. 2022 Other Gu Immortals later treat Forest Lightning grotto-heaven’s end as the warning against following that path. ch. 2024
