Forest Lightning Grotto Lord is the rank eight master of Forest Lightning grotto-heaven. He turns from the two heavens alliance toward Qi Sea Ancestor when the alliance tries to experiment on his qi harvest fruit.
Xiao He Jian confronts him for betraying the two heavens alliance and colluding with Qi Sea Ancestor, with alliance Gu Immortals arrayed behind him. Forest Lightning Grotto Lord answers alone that the alliance wants to experiment on the qi harvest fruit in his grotto-heaven, that earlier trials destroyed tested grotto-heavens, and that he joined the alliance for self-protection but will not sacrifice his home, so he sought the enemy instead. He warns human Gu Immortals present that Wu Shuai protects variant humans while sacrificing human grotto-heavens. Fang Yuan’s main body as Qi Sea Ancestor and Wu Shuai are the same person, so the contact is reported and Xiao He Jian is ordered to punish him. Lady Cold Ash fights him at rank eight while alliance immortals watch; he flees underground when pressed. ch. 2020

After Qin Ding Ling presses for lightning Gu and Wu Shuai orders a fast kill without preserving the Gu, Xiao He Jian commands the alliance to kill Forest Lightning Grotto Lord and the grotto-heaven’s Gu Immortals, then attempt to remove the qi harvest fruit. During the fight Lady Cold Ash seizes lightning Gu from his hands. Xiao He Jian then defeats him; surrounding Gu Immortals prevent escape; Forest Lightning Grotto Lord is beheaded and Forest Lightning grotto-heaven is destroyed. ch. 2022
