Blood Pond Graveyard

Gu Yue Bo, holding the clan’s secret history, knows that the first generation ancestor’s will told descendants to bring a Gu Master with the Ancient Moon Desolate Yin body into the blood pond graveyard. Fang Yuan is sucked from the spirit spring by a blood colored light and dragged down a tunnel. He falls about fifteen metres in an underground space filled with red light, toward a pond of blood water. He estimates this is deeper than the underground cave. In his previous life he was not strong enough to learn the secrets of the higher-ups, so he does not recognise the place. Even among clan elders, only one or two knew this secret. ^{ch. 182}

Appearance

The blood pond shines with a bloody radiance. Its circumference is even larger than the village, and it emits an eerie and scary aura. At the top of the cave, up to a hundred holes gush water, bringing shells, turtles, snakes, and fish from the river. In a few breaths the blood is sucked from those creatures. They turn into dry corpses and float on the surface. Other than fresh dry corpses there are bones in the water: fish bones, bear bones, and human skeletons. Ripples sweep into the surrounding walls, and bright red glowing blood water turns the soil into red soil. ^{ch. 182}
