Countless bee groups emerge from the water and land on boat flowers floating on the surface. During May in Eastern Sea, ripples carry those flowers across bee sea; the flowers are vibrant, as large as small boats, and spread like scrolls in a sea of flowers. ch. 907
Bee sea connects to flower sea. Large numbers of water bees live there. They can fly only for a short time and are better at swimming freely in the sea. The yearly May arrival of boat flowers is their only chance to collect nectar. ch. 907
