Killer move role
Dazzling star armor is a defensive killer move. Once used, a full body armor forms on the Gu Immortal’s body, shining like starlight. Star Lord Wan Xiang prices it at half an immortal essence stone. Fang Yuan already knows the move as extremely common and judges that price too high; he does not buy dazzling star armor in that trade. ch. 667
Refinement material
Later text states that refinement of Star Thought Gu used starlight Gu as the main material in a wisdom path inheritance that enters wisdom path through star path. ch. 809 Fang Yuan later recalls buying mortal starlight Gu to refine star thought Gu, and notes that after he can use starlight Immortal Gu he no longer needs that purchase route. ch. 862
