Oil Dragon Gu

Under Qing Mao Mountain at the blood lake, Tie Xue Leng activates Oil Dragon Gu against Blood River Python. ^{ch. 185}

Activated form

When used, pitch black oil falls like a waterfall and forms into a dragon in the air before plunging at the target. Later the same Gu forms a pitch black oil dragon that coils around the giant puppet’s left arm with its head on the left shoulder. ^{ch. 185}

Effect

The black oil dragon matches Blood River Python in physique but is only rank four and has no physical body, so the python soon tears it to shreds. Destroying that oil form causes backlash to Oil Dragon Gu in the aperture. Great amounts of black oil stick to the python, and Fire Dragon Gu then sets that oil alight to roast it. Fang Yuan judges that the paired Oil Dragon Gu and Fire Dragon Gu only force a temporary retreat while the blood lake can still heal the python. ^{ch. 185}
